My super Essay!!

We had our CASE exams Sunday (Maths) and Tuesday (Engish).
It was not so bad...but not so good.
There was an argumentative essay to write on the topic "The Art of Letter Writing should be revised".
I wrote a big essay and I don't remember half of the thing that I wrote....But yes, I do remember writing about the Lokpal Bill. I wonder how that came in my head at that time!!

Wednesday, I was going down to the clinic to check on Rahanuma because she fell and sprained her leg in the break. At that time, some 8-C girls came to me and said "Dude! Your essay is just amazing!!! Ma'am loved it so much..!". I didn't believe them cause I thought they were being a bit sarcastic.
I went to the clinic, but Rahanuma had gone home already.
Then I went back to class. So another 'Malavika' in my class came to me and said that Rama Priya Ma'am (english teacher) was searching for me.
I got so scared! I called Megha with me and went down to the lobby, where she was waiting for me. She called me close and gave me a BIG hug! And she said these two line "You made me proud" and "You made my day". OH..! I was so happy to hear that..!! She said my essay was brilliant and she needs a hard copy of it so that she can put it in Zodiac, our school magazine.
Then in class also she praised me. She said my Essay is 'out of this world'. I felt so proud!!

Thursday also she praised me so much in class. She said my essay had the exact format and she was giggling while reading my essay cause it had humorous parts and she didn't correct any other paper for the rest of the time so that she wouldn't spoil her mood.
You see, its not very easy to get a very good appreciation from her.
Not that she is partial or anything...She is an amazing teacher and she knows our capabilities.
She expects that from us. You show your capabilities...she will love you for the rest of her life! 

Glob-ex Results!!

Today, they announced the Glob-Ex results!
We, didn't have so much of hope. Because, our Class Teacher, Blaicy Ma'am, was talking to us like that.
But, don't know why, all of us got a bit of hope in the assembly. We expected a 3rd position at least...

They announced that 7-B got third prize...
Oh No..!! Suddenly all of us became sad... We were saying, If no third prize then nothing at all!
Now, for the Second Prize, Ma'am said "8.........D!!! "
I looked in all four direction and screams "8D, 8D, 8D, 8D!!!!" It was our class!!
I know, we didn't get 1st so I don't need to be so excited but I just couldn't control my self!! I jumped on Neethy and were all clapping and howling so loudly!!!
I guess no other class cheered so loudly. It was because we didn't expect this much!!

1st prize was bagged by 8B...My English teacher's class.
Well, they did deserve it...They were speaking in Spanish it seems...

Anyways, I am really excited about this!!
But....The trophy was a bit small... (?)

So Cold...!!!!!

Papa told me to start reading Newspaper. We can't subscribe for any newspaper. Because, even if we do, we will have to subscribe for 1 year and maybe we won't be here in Dubai, for that long. 

Anyways, Papa said Amma to go out and buy the newspaper everyday...

And today is the second day. I didn't read today as I was little busy. But I did read yesterday.

I read that the temperature in Europe is -30 degree Celsius!! I have no idea how people survive. Speaking of surviving, many people died. About 300 or so. I went and told about this to my classmates. And they were saying they also read about that and in Gulf News, there was a picture in which the a car fully covered with snow!! Here, it's not even a bit close to -30 degree and everyone says it freezing. I guess the Europeans, if they come here, they will be sweating!! In class, no one allows the A/C temperature to be below 22. 

What can I say...it is cold!!
